i uncovered a very shitty photo of the now famous Achtung Baby Condoms of the ZooTV tour.

in regards to how slow U2 news has been recently.....

this is all the current U2 action i have had to feed upon.

(inspired by AIDS).

1. commenting on the U2 t-shirt of a customer at my job.

2. enhancing a story my boss was telling to some customers about a certain band playing a show on a roof once-upon-a-time.

3. st. mark's guy/michael playing some U2 (best of 80s b-sides) for me last monday morning.

4. trying to figure out how to buy tickets to the Under A Blood Red Sky tribute on August 21 at Red Rocks.

5. dancing to the U2 version of "Instant Karma" in an empty movie theatre.

6. dancing to "Instant Karma" on headphones in the middle of virgin records.

7. catching that subtle, amusing U2 reference in the middle of Ocean's 13: "like the band said, 'two hearts beat as one'.

....................and really, that's about it!

The Edge is to receive an honorary doctorate in music from the Berklee College of Music in Boston! so now we have "Dr." The Edge and "Sir" Bono. ha! Edge is receiving this honor for "achievements in music and contributions to American and international culture".

Bono is an author now, too!

According to atu2.com, Bono wrote a short, 64-page book to go on sale in April.

The book is titled On The Move, and will feature a reflection on Bono's speech given at the National Prayer Breakfast last year.
